Finding the beauty in people and places have been constants in my life. From being a mother, a middle school teacher, a backpacking guide, and an avid outdoor explorer, I have had the opportunity to be surrounded by stunning settings and souls. I have found photography to be the perfect way to merge my love of people with my passion for nature.

I have always been drawn to authenticity: genuine people, raw and honest and real. Until recently, I thought that this was exactly what most photos lacked. As society and art have been evolving, so too has this field. I see glimpses of real and raw moments in photographs now more than ever before, and it makes me so excited to create!
